Happy yellow flowers in white buckets reflect color onto the slick concrete floor of a farmers market as an older woman works nearby. This is a dark painting showing the dark, cool light inside the North Carolina State Farmers Market on a hot day with the Carolina sun blazing outside. A coffee pot reminds the viewer of the hard work put into a day's work done by our dedicated farm laborers. Here the red truck is used as an iconic symbol of the farm. The white haired woman reminds me of my farming grandparents.
