Emphasis in Drawing
When I moved to North Carolina, my desire to paint what I was seeing and feeling, really opened up (probably due to the stress of raising children with medical needs.) Now I want to share with you the work that I have done in those Carolina years of my past, the things I'm currently working on and what I hope to do in the future. My prayer is that art blesses you as much as it has me!
I was born in Oklahoma, where my father was an instructor pilot for the Air Force. My mother was an elementary school teacher. I went to first grade in Canada. Second grade in Texas. And lived back in Oklahoma while my dad served in Vietnam. Then I finished High School and College in Ohio.
My faith is a valid part of my personal art expression. As such, it is my ambition to glorify God in my own small way in the works I create. You have to admit nature is pretty awesome! I never cease to be amazed by the colors I see in this amazing world we live in. I hope to share them with you in my paintings.
