Donna's Clematis on Mailbox

These white clematis were growing on Donna's mailbox in my neighborhood in Garner, North Carolina. Clematis decorating mailboxes is a common country sight in the Carolinas. Here I painted this while our boys played together in the neighborhood. "The hood" as the boys liked to call it back then.
This green and white and grey watercolor is more graphic than others in my collection. I think it works here with the disk-like shape of the clematis flowers.
